Thank you all… We’ve done it!

Over £1,000,000 raised (so far!)

 

Our accounts for last year are in and they show that we have all, now, raised over £1m together, so we really mean it when we say Thanks A Million!

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved as Headcase Cancer Trust. Just 2 volunteers and 5 Trustees have provided the framework for you many brilliant people to do many brilliant things.

However, we’re not stopping there. We’re on our way now to the next £1m to help pay for a First in Human Trial of a combination vaccine that is being developed, with Headcase funding, by the ‘Wizards’ in the John van Geest Laboratory at Nottingham Trent University (NTU).

The combination vaccine being developed by NTU is a potential game changer and the results so far are encouraging.

 

However we continue to need YOUR HELP as we simply can’t do it without you.

We want to fund a Human Trial that will enable perhaps 200 people to undergo treatment that yes, is experimental but it will have the backing of proven science and laboratory based results behind it. If the Trial is successful then thousands more people will benefit if the Human Trial is also a success.

We still have work to do, though, before the Trial can commence and we will be funding a new Research Study at NTU in the very near future.

By fundraising or simply donating YOU will be helping initially hundreds of people, young and old, to tackle their GBM. After that YOU will be helping thousands of people and be able to say that YOU have helped find a cure for an incurable disease. What’s not to like?
